A note from Terri.... January 5, 2001 Hi everyone! As you can see, Mark has done an awesome job of updating our web site. I thought that this would be a great opportunity to update everyone on what is going on with us as well. We will try to be better about keeping this thing current. First of all, we are in the home stretch of waiting for our second child to arrive. As I write this, I am 36 weeks pregnant - only 4 weeks to go! We can't wait to meet the newest member of our family. Even Andrew seems to be ok with this - so far. He likes to give kisses to the "baby tummy" and we are reading books about becoming a big brother. We do not know the sex of the baby, but if you check out the ultrasound picture and have any guesses for us, email away. So far the consensus seems to be another boy, but we have some hard core people in the minority who insist it is a girl. We will have to wait and see…. Andrew is now 2 years old and a complete joy to us --most of the time. (Did I mention that he's 2?). He loves watching Sesame Street, Elmo and Mr. Rogers. He can sing the ABC song and can count up to 20 without help and can go even higher if you help him. Right now he is very into Curious George books and drawing. He also loves to help out around the house. He likes to sweep, put clothes in the dryer, unload the dishwasher etc. He really likes to go to Gymboree and play with his friends in playgroup. He is quite a busy little dude. This past July, we bought and moved into our new house. It is really great. We have lots more room than our last house and we have finally gotten all of our furniture. (It's a very long story…) We could not be happier with our new place. We have met some of our neighbors, but with winter now here, we hope to meet the rest of them this spring and summer. We are doing many things to keep ourselves busy. Mark's company is doing great. They are very busy at GM. As for myself, besides taking Andrew to stuff and generally being a mom, I have found some things to keep me busy as well. I designed props for 3 shows at the Performance Network in Ann Arbor last year, I am currently back selling tickets for Purple Rose shows at least until this next baby comes, then I will take a break for a couple of months. Finally I am the entertainment coordinator for the Michigan Elvisfest in Ypsilanti. My friend Tracy is the director and I have volunteered to help with the event. It should be lots of fun. The Event is July 14 & 15 this year. If you are around the area, stop by! I guess that about wraps it up for us, keep checking the website for updated photos and video, we will post pictures of the new baby as soon as he or she arrives. Look for them in early February. (I am due on Jan 30th). Take care and we hope to see you all soon!! Love, Terri, Mark and Andrew Fisher |
