A note from Terri....

Hello all!
We are smack in the middle of summer and thought you would all like to catch up with all of our latest adventures! Can't believe how quickly it is going!
We went to Bald Head Island, North Carolina in July. We had a wonderful time there with Mark's parents, Lynn and Roger, grandparents "Pop and G.G." and Grandma Hazel (a.k.a. Nini). Andrew had the best time playing in the ocean. He LOVES to swim and had no problem handling the waves. Be sure to check out the new videos of him playing in the waves.
Bald Head Island doesn't allow cars, so our beach house was equipped with 2 golf carts. Andrew loved these as well. If he disappeared, we just went down to the garage and there he was "driving". His other favorite thing on the island was "old Baldy" the island lighthouse. He climbed to the top by himself - all 108 steps! Papa was there to help him get up the ladder at the very top. Miss Brooke also enjoyed the trip. She especially liked to dig her toes in the sand. She likes the water so far, but does not like being splashed in the face. She spent lots of time with Nini who catered to her every whim. All in all it was a great time.
Andrew is still attending (and enjoying) Camp Peachy. He has had many adventures there this summer, taking many field trips to the farms, airports and costume shops around Ann Arbor. He is also on the verge of being potty trained! Woo hoo!! On September 4th he officially starts pre-school at Peach Tree Montessori.
