A note from Mark.... January 6, 2002 Well, it's been quite awhile since we updated our news section. It was a strange ending to a strange year. The horrific acts of terrorism in the US, the economy going south, rising unemployment, Michigan losing every important football game, and the Lions delivered a pathetic 2-14 season. Bummer. I'm not even mentioning the punishment that my stock portfolio took. Hopefully 2002 will be better. There's already hope, with the strong message sent to the terrorist organizations, Michigan getting a great recruiting class in football, and my friend Frank Statio winning $42,000 on Jeopardy. Also, my cousin Jenny Andrews got married in San Diego. Andrew started school at Peach Tree Montessori and turned 3 in October. Brooke grew some teeth and is starting to say a few words. (She even scoots across the floor like an Olympic Luge racer starting her run) My mom's school started building a $5 million building to accommodate their growing needs. I'm still working at GM with my brother Dave and good friend Bob Dively. Bob recently got engaged to Liz while they were on vacation in the Virgin Islands. Terri is spending time at home with Brooke and is coordinating props for several of the shows at The Performance Network in Ann Arbor. I added a bunch of new pictures to our photo section and a few more hilarious GIFs. Also, I'm going to put in a new Flash section so I can goof around with some experimental stuff. Go to our contact page if you want to send us a note. Take it easy, The Fishers |
