A note from Terri.... May 26, 2002 Do you know what it's like having kids? Sometimes you open your refrigerator and find this. Well, Mark has been on my case to update this little blog of ours, so here goes…. Here are some of the things we have been up to in the past four of five months. We took our annual Easter trip to North Carolina in early April. We had a nice little vacation. Andrew did lots of fishing with his Papa. He is quite the fisherman. His specialty is bluegills and crappies. There was also lots of egg coloring, furniture shopping and just general family stuff. Brooke started working on her "crusing" while we were there. We also went to the North Carolina Zoo and the Children's Museum. Andrew loved the real race car. He can't wait until he is 16 so he can really drive. Also in April he were lucky to have our friends John and Susan and their son Julian come visit for a long weekend. Andrew and Julian were fast friends and had lots of fun together. We managed to have a picnic, and make it to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum as well as hang out with Matt and Jill Kripke and their kids Sari and Asher. It was really nice spending time with them. We plan on visiting John and Susan in Minneapolis this summer. Andrew is wrapping up his first year at preschool. On May 17th Peachtree held their annual "Spring Fling" and Andrew received his first "degree". (I'm sure it is his first of many.) Check out the photos from the ceremony. Brooke is ALMOST walking. She is soooo close. We are just waiting for the day when she decides to get up and walk across the room. She will be 16 months on June 3rd, so it will be really soon I am sure. She is also working on her vocabulary. She has about 20 or 25 words that she uses a lot. I also had her picture taken by our friend Melissa Leeper from Leeper Photo. It is the totally cute black and white one. I guess that is it for now. Mark and I are heading to London and Paris at the end of June to see our friends Eric and Jodi. We will be sure to post some pics of our European vacation after we get home. I am sure there will be lots of stories to tell. Until then…. The Fishers
